Welcome to “JavaScript Essentials 2”! This is the second course in a 2-part series designed to prepare you for the JSA – Certified Associate JavaScript Programmer certification exam. In this intermediate-level course, you’ll go beyond the basics and learn how to model real-world problems using advanced JavaScript techniques and objectoriented programming.
Module 1: Classless Objects
Explore objects—literals, properties, prototypes, getters/setters, cloning, and inheritance.
Module 2: Class-Based OOP
Learn modern class syntax, constructors, inheritance, static members, and instanceof use.
Module 3: Built-In Objects
Dive into powerful built-ins: Number, String, Date, Array (incl. functional methods), Set, Map, JSON, Math, RegExp.
Module 4: Advanced Function Usage
Cover closures, IIFEs, apply/call/bind, decorators, generators, iterators, and asynchronous callbacks.
